In this session, we will explore how experiential learning can help students build deeper thinking in an AI-supported classroom. We will look at how authentic tasks create opportunities for students to make decisions, test ideas, explain their reasoning, revise through feedback, and apply learning in new situations. The session will introduce judgment, synthesis, reasoning, and transfer as key markers for designing and assessing meaningful student work. Participants will use a practical framework to rethink an assignment so the learning process becomes more visible, measurable, and connected to real cognitive development. Educators will leave with a clear tool for designing experiences that move students beyond polished products and toward demonstrated thinking.
