About me
Megan Cramer is currently a specialist in the Center for Teaching and Learning at The Galloway School, having previously served as director of fine arts and the upper learning theater teacher. In her current role, Megan consults and advises faculty and administration on curriculum and instruction through a fine arts and experiential lens, while providing guidance on successful models for cross-curricular projects from PK-12th grades.
In addition to her teaching and coaching experience at Galloway, she spent 15 years in New York City on stage and in the classroom with Avenues: The World School and The 52nd Street Project. Here in Atlanta, she has been a teaching artist for the Alliance Theatre, is a frequent presenter at the Woodruff Arts Center Educator Conference, and continues to act and direct professionally with many local theaters. Whether she is working with children, teenagers, or adults, Megan encourages everyone to remember what it is like to "play" and how to structure that sense of play into an engaging and enriching learning experience.
